Dance Beijing performs
regularly at universities and community libraries, in cultural events, festivals and private parties. The performances are delivered at
auditoriums, theaters, concert halls, galleries, community centers, etc.
The performances typically
last 45 to 60 minutes and involve 5 to 12 dancers. Each performance
usually includes solos, duets, and group dances. Each dance is 4 to
6 minutes long. In some performances Dance Beijing reserves 10 to 15
minutes to interact with the audience through questions and answers.
For each performance Dance Beijing carefully selects the
dances and customizes the program to meet the needs of the sponsoring client and the
audience. For example, when the audience includes a lot of children, Dance Beijing would
invite some children to come on stage to learn a few movements and
try some of the props. |
